Last 5 years

Here is a list of some of my favorite books I read in the last 5 years.

01

The Naked Surgeon by Samer Nashef

Samer Nashef discusses the hard truth ignored by some aloof surgeons in and out of the operating room.

02

The Emperor of all maladies by Siddharth Mukherjee

The book is a brilliant biography of cancer. It connects all the dots about cancer evolution since the time there has

been any form of documentation

03

The Knife Man by Wendy Moore

Wendy Moore has been a great advocate in telling the story of John Hunter - the father of modern surgery! John Hunter was way ahead of his time (almost 200 years ahead in some instances). A true pioneer of surgery.

04

Connected by Nicholas Christakis & James Fowler

The power of the social network is strong and it affects our subconscious brain. Someone laughing in a different country may affect your mood - read 'Connected' if you want to know how.

05

Outliers by Malcom Gladwell

MG has a special skill set when it comes to storytelling. He has a unique way of connecting different examples with data, which most people will miss. At the end of the day, it all comes down to 10,000 hours!
